Michael A. Troncellito Jr., Esq.

Michael Troncellito earned his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law (Newark, New Jersey) in 2000. He also holds a Bachelor of Science with a dual major in 1994 from the University of Scranton.

Michael is admitted to practice in all State and County courts with the State of Arizona (2003) and within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (2001). Michael is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Arizona (2006) and the United AStates Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (2001).

Prior to founding Troncellito & Associates, Michael spent nearly five (5) years working for various insurance companies and insurance defense law firms.  His “inside” training and experience in the insurance industry continues to benefit his personal injury clients.

Personal Injury matters predominate Michael’s case load. Additionally, Michael represents various sized businesses as their outside general counsel draftings and negotiating contracts and handling commercial litigation matters of all types and sizes.  DUI and criminal representation is also handled.

Nels Van Peursem, Esq.

Nels Van Peursem earned his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law (San Diego, California) in 2007. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, which he earned in 2004 from the Northern Arizona University. Nels was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in January 2008.

Prior to joining Troncellito & Associates, Nels worked as an associate attorney for the law firm of Barton & Troncellito. At Barton & Troncellito, Nels was involved in Personal Injury matters, Criminal matters, and Civil Litigation. Nels has also worked for Scottsdale Healthcare as a regulatory analyst in the health care company’s compliance department. Nels possesses significant experience in the hospital and heath care industry which proves beneficial in personal injury matters.

Nels grew up in Phoenix. He is active in the community through charitable organizations and coaching football at Thunderbird High School. Nels is a former collegiate football player (Northern Arizona University), and in his free time continues to play semi-professional football in the Copperstate Football League. Nels also enjoys competing in triathlons and playing golf.

Beth Rees, Paralegal

Beth Rees, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, moved to Phoenix in 1990, where she has been active in the legal community since.  Beth is a litigation paralegal with the firm and possesses fourteen years of professional experience in personal injury cases, commercial and personal collections law, and domestic relations matters.  

Beth graduated from the University of New Mexico , cum laude, with dual majors - English and Psychology in 1990.  She has published numerous short stories and poems.  Beth also created and had published reference and procedural manuals for the Arizona Division of Child Support Enforcement.  The Commercial Law League of America, Young Members’ Division, has also published some of Beth’s works.

Beth is an active knitter.  She designs knitted lace and garments.  Several of Beth’s patterns have been published through Southwest Trading Company.  Beth is also an active “blanketeer” for Project Linus, a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need, by and through gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans.
